Welcome!
Owner and lead veterinarian, Dr Elizabeth Riddett is a veterinarian with a passion for movement. Her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, her personal athletic endeavours, and her specialised additional veterinary training have given her an incredible depth of knowledge around movement and musculoskeletal injuries. She is a champion for pain-free, functional movement in ourselves and in our pets and equine athletes.

Dr Riddett was born and raised in Alberta but has called the island home since 2008. She attended the University of Victoria and received an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. After deciding she needed to work with animals to be happy, she attended the University of Calgary, Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2020.
She achieved her Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy certification in 2022. She completed additional training for veterinary acupuncture through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS), and is on her way to gaining her Canine Rehabilitation Therapist certification. She is also trained in Equine Dry Needling through MyoPain Seminars.
Her North Star is to live with an open mind and an open heart. She is an avid powerlifter, hiker, and loves to trail run and mountain bike with her dog, Chili.
Dr Erica Gibson graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2023 and has since relocated to Vancouver Island, where she lives with her husband, Curtis, and their two dogs, Deborah and Harris.
She divides her time between working in general veterinary practice and pursuing continuing education. She has already accomplished so much in her career, and is currently a candidate in the Canine Certified Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) program through the University of Tennessee.
She has a strong passion for developing and implementing effective pain management programs to improve patient comfort and well-being. She is also an advocate for providing a whole spectrum of care that results in the best option for both pets and their humans.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Erica enjoys film photography as a creative outlet. She is dedicated to helping pets regain optimal mobility and quality of life, and looks forward to meeting you and your animal companions.
